Xiaomi, once cited as China's Apple, has launched a portable mosquito repeller xiaomi device for just $4 (approximately Rs. 270). The new Portable Mosquito Repeller is launched under Xiaomi's MIJIA or Smart Home, the rebranded Mi Eco-system. The device is now available to purchase in China.

The Chinese company in its internal tests found the MIJIA Portable Mosquito Repeller to last for approximately 14 hours when plugged to Mi Power Bank 10000mAh, approximately 15 hours when plugged to Mi Power Bank Pro 10000mAh, and approximately 28 hours when plugged to Mi Power Bank 20000mAh.
The MIJIA Portable Mosquito Repeller measures 4.6 centimetres in diameter and weighs just 25 grams. Xiaomi says which the device has heat resistant materials in order to make the cover, and PTC thermistors are used in addition. The heating element is made of stainless steel.
