Xiaomi, once cited as China's Apple, has launched a portable mosquito repeller xiaomi device for just $4 (approximately Rs. 270). The new Portable Mosquito Repeller is launched under Xiaomi's MIJIA or Smart Home, the rebranded Mi Eco-system. The device is now available to purchase in China.

The MIJIA Portable Mosquito Repeller measures 4.6 centimetres in diameter and weighs just 25 grams. Xiaomi says which the device has heat resistant materials in order to make the cover, and PTC thermistors are used in addition. The heating element is made of stainless steel.
